UKG Functional Junior

Support the UKG Pro platform for a large healthcare organisation managing time, attendance, and award compliance across thousands of employees.

Role details

Support the UKG Pro platform for a large healthcare organisation managing time, attendance, and award compliance across thousands of employees.

You'll sit within the People and Culture division, working day-to-day on the configuration and maintenance of UKG Pro (Kronos WFD). You'll handle user support, data audits, system patches, and the semi-annual upgrade cycle, while also building reports and dashboards that help the business make sense of workforce data.

This is a permanent role embedded in a team that owns a genuinely complex workforce management environment. Award compliance and rostering at this scale isn't simple, and the system touches a lot of people across the business. You'll get exposure to the full lifecycle of a major HRIS platform, from configuration changes through to end-user training and documentation.

Because the role sits in People and Culture rather than IT, you'll spend real time translating between the technical side of UKG and the operational teams who rely on it daily. That's a useful skill to build early in a WFM career. There's also room to grow here. As you get across the configuration and support fundamentals, there are natural pathways into more senior analyst work or specialised WFM consulting down the track.

What You'll Do

  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro (Kronos WFD), including system updates, patches, and semi-annual upgrade testing.
  • Audit employee profiles, job codes, organisational structures, and schedules to maintain data integrity.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards within UKG Pro to surface workforce trends for business decision-making.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users, and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kronos WFC, WFD, or UKG Pro in a support or analyst capacity.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS concepts and workforce management processes including time and attendance and award compliance.
  • Kronos WFC/WFD or UKG Pro certification is a plus.
