Build the learning platform that thousands of Australian students, parents, and tutors use every day, $160k-$180k + super.
You'll work directly with the Engineering Lead to ship full-stack features across a TypeScript and Next.js frontend, Go services, and Supabase edge functions. You'll own the harder features, keep quality high through thorough PR reviews and meaningful test coverage, and be the steady technical presence the team leans on when the Lead is stretched. This is hands-on senior engineering with real ownership.
The team works hybrid, with some on-site time at their Glen Waverley or Melbourne CBD campus. The stack is modern throughout: Next.js, Go, PostgreSQL, Supabase, AWS, and Vercel, with IaC via SST or Pulumi and monorepo tooling in Turborepo. You'll have AI tooling available to build and ship quickly, and the culture is firmly outcome-focused. Outputs matter here, not hours in a seat.

The package includes $160,000 to $180,000 AUD plus super, extra leave, EAP access, and lifestyle perks.
What You'll Do
- Build full-stack features end to end, from Next.js UI and API routes through to Go services and Supabase edge functions.
- Work with the Engineering Lead to deliver the technical roadmap, pushing back where it helps and committing fully once a direction is set.
- Break large changes into reviewable, deployable increments, writing tests and documentation that genuinely help the team maintain what gets shipped.
- Contribute to IaC and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Vercel, covering both greenfield builds and improvements to existing systems.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, fluent in TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Go.
- Familiarity with Prisma or similar ORMs, Vitest or Jest for unit and integration testing, and Turborepo for monorepo management.
- Hands-on experience with Supabase, AWS services, Vercel deployments, and IaC tooling such as SST or Pulumi.
- Clean PR and code habits, GitFlow branching, CI/CD pipeline configuration via GitHub Actions, and comfort in Linear or Jira.
