Position Purpose The Solution Architect plays a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure technology solutions that integrate a wide range of systems, applications, and data sources across AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms. Supporting both consumer-facing and internal operations, the role ensures seamless system interoperability and high performance. Reporting to the Lead Solution Architect, the Senior Solution Architect will deliver insight-driven commercial data solutions that enhance decision-making, efficiency, and revenue, while building and optimizing data models and pipelines for real-time & analytical use. The role will focus on ensuring all solutions are strategically aligned with the broader technology roadmap and business objectives, while delivering intuitive, reliable, and responsive platforms that elevate the customer experience. Key Accountabilities Solution Design & Architecture
Lead HLD/LLD for network architecture Drive validation strategy (PoCs, production readiness) and implementation oversight Design and govern complex network solutions across hybrid and multicloud environments Design, develop and deploy scalable, secure solutions connecting diverse systems, applications, and data sources, utilizing AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms to support both consumer-facing and internal operations. Eliminate ambiguity and drive architectural clarity for solution design, engineering and stakeholders Governance & Risk Management
Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring solutions are resilient, compliant, and secure. Establish and implement architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and alignment across all solutions. Stakeholder Engagement
Work side by side with the enterprise and solution architecture team to ensure solution designs align with enterprise-wide strategies, standards, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into robust architectural solutions. Leadership
Collaborate with a team of Solution Architects, contributing to a cohesive and high-performing environment through active participation and knowledge-sharing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver guidance and education, fostering business-wide understanding and expertise in Commercial Data Architecture. Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, combined with extensive experience in architecting solutions for enterprise-level systems. Desirable:
Master’s degree in Business/ Technology or relevant discipline. Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or Zachman). Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
Extensive experience with analysing, configuring, troubleshooting, designing complex enterprise secure networks Strong familiarity with Routing and Firewall equipment Strong ability to align architectural decisions with business objectives, ensuring solutions are both strategic and practical Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing network solutions with a focus on security, seamless data and application connectivity Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams Deep understanding of architectural best practices, standards and governance frameworks, with the ability to apply them across the team Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges. Palo Alto firewall architecture and policy design; WAF/load balancer integration Experience with IRAP certification Desirable:
Experience with or exposure to Agile Project Management, DevSecOps, Human Centered Design, Customer experience or Design thinking preferred Experience working with Product focused Agile teams.
